I talk to my customers. Nearly every single one of them that pops into my shop, I'll have a little chit chat conversation with. I got some feedback about the customer service in Tenino. And this was not from just one person. I've heard this from quite a few people over the past few weeks. They said that our shopkeepers & employees give them the "warmest welcome", "personable service" and "friendliest smiles". Those comments make me feel so good

So... I'm thinking triple layer Deluxe Red Velvet Cake for this weekends special.
With 2 layers of red velvet cake, 1 layer of chocolate cake, chocolate cream filling and cheese cake cream filling with cream cheese frosting on top.

and I hope to get my cake baked tonight and ready for serving our after dinner crowd on Friday.
I'm thinking a Triple Lemon Layered Cake with lemon cream center and lemon curd center between cake layers with my famous lemon cream frosting on top 🍋🍋🍋

I did manage to make fresh chocolates today(Friday) and will OPEN(Saturday) just before the parade until my ankle tells me to call it a day. Stop in for a Peanut Butter Cup or maybe a Turtle. I've really missed being at the shop this week and hope I can make it through the weekend.
