Happy Venus Day!!!
Family Astrology is probably my favorite part of the study. Astrology was the topic of my childhood home ... with an Aries mom and sister, the difference between water and fire was often brought up.
My mom didn't know about the full natal chart back then and I didn't discover it until my 20s.
Though once I tuned into the deeper definitions of the birth chart, that's when my birth family began to make sense.
Both my mom and sister have Pisces in Mercury like I do and my sister also has an Aquarius moon. With our moms moon in Libra, the detached emotional experience of home could be seen in our natal charts.
What other moon sign could 2 Aqua moons need to feel fulfilled? We couldn't have handled a water moons need for closeness. And Earth moon would have created too much stability for our needs. We both left home in our teens and required early adult experience to navigate our individual life path.
And, trust me, there were ample times when I (the most watery of the crew) felt like I was 'in the wrong family'. Their passion for self exposed my disconnect from myself and I often felt misunderstood (a common experience of the Pisces). Though they both always knew what to say (Mercury) to wash away my self doubt and help me feel in union again.
Family Astrology teaches us to honor our origin and the natural energy of home. It helps enlighten the individual needs of each member of the family and empowers the others to embrace the whole human vs judging and criticizing their differences.
Because it's the differences that create the challenges that teach the lessons.
My , the one who has always just got me. I used to hope someone could see me how you always have. Now I give thanks I was gifted your heart and awareness as my 'little sister'. The OG - my original gift. I miss your laugh Keeks the Sneak!!!
