Highlights from Game On Expo and Anime Las Vegas. The past 2 weeks have been filled with so much joy, laughter, stress, payoff — and just a little bit of Smash Bros.
I wanted to share some special moments I caught on camera of some of you at the booth, grabbing a piece of jewelry that excites you, along with some personal highlights of my own.
First, a huge thank you to everyone who continues to show up and support me year over year. I love hearing that Legendary Gemworks is a non-negotiable part of your con experience — adding a new piece or two to your collection every year means the world to me.
I launched my Zelda-inspired series at Game On and sold out by Saturday evening. I made more and sold out again at Anime Las Vegas. Wow. That's never happened before. I can't wait to launch online later this week so the rest of you can get your hands on it.
I've also been working on something new — a series of necklaces and bracelets I'm calling my Designer Series. These pieces are focused on materials as the design itself, rather than being inspired by any specific character. I showed some off at the booths and was blown away by the response.
Legendary Gemworks has never looked better. The new displays, artwork and setup are the result of a lot of work and testing, and it really has everyone feeling good about grabbing something from the store.
I've grown so much this past year as a jewelry designer, 3D modeler, creative director and graphic artist — and it feels incredible to be on this journey and see how that growth shapes your experience with what I'm creating.
I'm so happy to be sharing all of this with you, and I can't wait for everything the rest of this year has in store.
One last thing: if you're working hard but not playing hard, you aren't doing it right. Give yourself time to dance, play, be silly — enjoy whatever moment you're in. If you don't, you'll miss your chance. 💙
