Feliz Women's History Month to all the beautiful women!
Women's History Month
celebrates the countless women who have fought tirelessly and courageously for equality, justice, and opportunity in our Nation.

It's been a hot minute since I last introduced myself so I wanted to take the time to quickly do so... My name is Isis and I am the owner of G Bella Custom Designs. I am a mom, wife and tia to theee cutest nephew in the world! 🥰
I'm originally from Chicago but relocated to sunny California (although it's cold and rainy today 😔). I'm passionate about working and helping my Latino community and therefore worked in the child welfare field for 12 years. Currently I work in Post Release Services field with unaccompanied children and run my small business on nights and weekends.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes from my dad and the G Bella Custom Designs motto " Brave Women Change the World."

Hola chicas! I just wanted to make an announcement regarding a slight shift with G Bella Custom Designs. Many of those who have been following me since Chicago, know I worked in child welfare for 12 years. I believed that my social work hat was coming off and it was retiring so I could dedicate 100% to my business after our move to California. But the funny thing about life is that our plans are not always God's plans. I have realized in these last few months that my heart and passion belong to the career I worked so hard to build. We all have a special gift and mine is social work. I've known since the age of 8 that helping others was my life calling... Those that know me, know I'm passionate about immigrant rights and social justice advocacy so I am happy to announce that I have accepted a position with an amazing organization where I will be working with unaccompanied children ❤️.
G Bella Custom Designs will still remain active and I will continue to make/sell custom merch.
I'm thankful for the support, encouragement and shoulders of my family that I've cried and leaned on while on this journey. I couldn't do any of this without them!
Thank you to my customers for supporting this Mexicana's small biz, I look forward to still serving you. 🙂

I started working on this over the summer... this is a refurbished frame I found at Salvation Army and it was not originally cute but I knew I could do something better; I just needed to be inspired.

Well these last few weeks, diving into my Bible during our , it came to me. I knew I wanted to do a special piece for our home.

During these dark times, it is nice to be reminded that we have someone greater who is our protector, our provider, our creator and healer ✝️
