The handles are hand braided and give a soft yet durable feel and are not slippery on the shoulder. The interior is lined with a Western print canvas that incorporates multiple interior pockets. This gives this knife the ability to take a razor edge and hold it for a long time, yet, it remains easy to touchup and resharpen.
