Tehachapi Candle Co Highly Scented Hand Poured Candles made in Tehachapi, CA. Tehachapi Candle Co. sells primarily out of Gallery 'N' Gifts at 100 W. Tehachapi Blvd.

All of our candles are scented all the way through, they liquify as they burn so you get a complete burn. We use a soy based formula and high quality fragrance oils so you get a cleaner burning candle that smells fantastic! You can also find us at all the local arts and craft shows, Farmer's Market, or order from our website.

Probably my least favorite part of the process is going back through and filing in the sink holes. These happen because wax contracts as it cools and tiny air bubbles get trapped inside. Usually they surface and end up exposed, as you can see in the picture, but sometimes they are hidden just under the surface, so every candle gets a test poke just in case and filled in with more of the same scented wax. Once solidified, the outside gets cleaned and they get lids and labels before heading off to fill orders or to Gallery 'N Gifts for sale.
