There's something exciting about seeing the next generation of turf professionals learn on the same commercial-grade equipment they'll use in the field. That's why we're excited to work with Cory and the team at Southeast Technical College as they added a new Toro GrandStand to their Sports Turf Management program.

The Toro GrandStand is a perfect addition to the program, providing students with the opportunity to learn on commercial-grade equipment known for its productivity and performance.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support turf education and look forward to continuing our partnership with Southeast Technical College for years to come. Together, we're helping students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the green industry.

Some customer stories mean a little more personally, and this one is about one of my good friends, Matt.

Matt recently purchased a new S**g Patriot as a gift for his mother, who absolutely loves to mow and wanted something dependable that would get the job done right every single time. Knowing Matt, that decision didn’t surprise me one bit.

What makes this story special to me goes far beyond the mower itself.

Back in 2006, when I was just 21 years old and beginning my career in law enforcement, I was fresh out of school and trying to figure out my place in the profession and in life. Matt took me under his wing from day one. He gave me guidance, insight, and support during a time when I needed it most. What started as coworkers quickly turned into a friendship that carried over both on and off the job.

Matt also proudly served our country in the United States Army, and through S**g’s Simply The Brave program, he was able to receive special savings on his new mower as a small token of appreciation for his service.

This Memorial Day, I just want to publicly say thank you, Matt. Not only for your friendship over the last two decades, but for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to this country. Men like you are the reason programs like Simply The Brave exist, and the reason this holiday means so much more than just a long weekend.

We love getting updates like this from our customers. Greg from Dakota Seal sent us this video of his crew out putting their S**g Windstorm to work, and the results speak for themselves.

Greg told us this machine has been a complete game changer for their operation. What used to take a 5-man crew to prep a parking lot now requires only 2 crew members, and they’re completing jobs even faster than before.
