I’ve been a little too busy doing the things to remember to post about the things. 😂

So here’s a little glimpse of what I’ve been up to lately. I am WAY behind on sharing all the pretty stuff, but I’m going to try to be better about that! Promise.

Curious who here has had the pleasure of enjoying a fresh grown lemon cucumber?!

Sweet and citrusy, without the bitterness traditional cucumbers can have.

They are new to me and I am in love!

I think this dahlia is having a bit of an identity crisis. 😂

Let’s all root her on (😉) and leave her some words of encouragement.
She needs to know she’s perfect exactly the way she is.

I am loving this random experiment dying fabrics.

On the left is using fresh flowers and the liquid from a rusty old hammer soaked in vinegar for a few days, which creates the Blue color. On the right are my Marigold petals.

I truly didn’t think they would turn out so well.

PS whoever is supposed to be on making smellavision a thing needs to get to work.

Between the hundreds of dahlias I’ve loved and stewarded, I of course love them all unconditionally. But some days…. some just command attention.

This is what fresh, happy dahlias actually sound like when they’re cut right.
Hollow stems = healthy, hydrated blooms.

Flowers are often given as gifts, but their true gift is often overlooked.
They’re a reminder that slow, beautiful things still exist.
Even in the crazy world we live in that’s changing every day.
