As our season has officially ended and everything taken down, put away and cleaned up. We and when I use the term we, I mean the owner and staff who run a tent. We want to say Thank You to all the customers who came in looked at product, bought products or just stopped to say Hello. We couldn’t have done it without your support. To some returning customers which was several because they asked if we were the ones here last year. Which I could answer yes it was ran by my nephew and his family. Through conversation with one family I got to know their name the Grimsley family. The winner of a drawing held Stacey Nicholas I received a hug. To the father who said you know me the big spender. I told him it doesn’t matter it all adds the same. He came in 3 or 4 different times and bought stuff. To the two young teenage cousins who came in once with one of their fathers then uncle then day after the 4th with their mother. The father and uncle was giving my nephew a hard time but in a good way. Wanted him to choose the best for what they wanted to spend. However to two boys on their last visit was the better negotiators they hit a 25% sale so their money went further. So I told the boys to go home and tell and show the dad and uncle what they got for their money but I said just don’t tell them there was a sale going on. To the two families who drove after hours from Quincy to purchase fireworks I opened up so they could purchase what they wanted. I had the privilege of bringing 3 of 6 children of the owners up with me. They wanted to help and learn their dad’s business. Being as I am grandma I couldn’t say no as long as their dad agreed to it. Had couple of nieces work a few days and a nephew who wanted to make some money. Now to 3 soon to be young adults who stopped in just about every other day. There was a couple of times I joked it’s been 3 days. Sometimes I saw them a least one of the 3 twice in a day. I finally asked them their names because we would strike up conversation but I didn’t know their names. JT, Shelby and Amelia I won’t forget you 3. They asked me if I was coming back next year and I told them I personally probably will be in another tent about hour and 15 minutes away. They responded that’s not to far we might just come to see you there then. I told them they were more than welcomed to. However I don’t think it would be an every other day. Told them they might just have to come on a weekend and make one trip. There are many other memories created from helping out at a different tent and location then from helping my other son in our hometown. Again, we appreciate each and everyone who stopped under our tent this year. Thank you.
