🍎 Amazing Teacher Spotlight 🍎

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating educators who leave a lasting impact—and today we’re honoring Elizabeth Dupree Lunsford, better known to us as “Puddin” ❤️

Puddin currently teaches 3rd grade Reading & Social Studies at GW Carver Elementary School. She played a BIG role in the elementary school years of Tate, Grace, and Deanna, and continues to make a difference in the lives of so many students today.

After 30 years of teaching—and spending the past 7 summers continuing to support students through summer school—Puddin is retiring and looking forward to a well-deserved summer vacation this year! ☀️

We’re so grateful for teachers like Puddin whose kindness, dedication, and impact reach far beyond the classroom.

🍎 Amazing Teacher Spotlight 🍎
This Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating educators who inspire the next generation—and today we’re highlighting Samantha Watson.

Now in her 12th year at Cary High School, Samantha teaches Biology and Chemistry to students in grades 9–12. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for her is sparking curiosity and helping students develop a lifelong love of science.

Beyond the classroom, she also works closely with student council to help plan school traditions like homecoming and create opportunities that build school spirit and lasting memories for students.

We’re so grateful for teachers like Samantha who make such a meaningful impact both inside and outside the classroom.
