Our woman owned business is passionate about our customers and the quality of the equipment, accessories and service we provide. In the mid 1970’s a young man, Donald “Bud” Bonser, Jr. had been working at the ski rental shop at Camelback Ski Resort in Tannersville. A friend suggested that he should open his own ski rental shop because it was a lucrative business. So with some help from another fri
end and his uncle, Bud constructed a building on his property which was on the only road up the mountain to Camelback, purchased ski equipment and opened for business. Over the years the business thrived, the building got larger and Bud refined his marketing plan to provide personal and efficient customer service to those who needed ski equipment. He was fortunate to have a 4-5 month business that provided sufficient income for him and his family. Although advised many times, he never used his ski rental building and surrounding land for any other summertime business opportunities. Finally in 2015 he decided to sell his business and two adjacent houses all on a 3 acre parcel with about 750 feet of road frontage. Eventually in 2017 an employee, the current owner, showed an interest. With the help of family, she made an offer that was acceptable to Bud and only included one (1) of the two (2) houses on the property. The new owner has retained the same friendly, efficient service to customers. With the help of returning employees, the transition has been seamless and with only subtle changes.
