Our infamous never finished kitchen reno is almost done I swear 😅
And yes this is all stockpiled decor waiting for their homes, let’s normalize decorating in the in-between stages lol
Next step is choosing the lime wash color for the walls and ceiling, which is hard since we didn’t apply the samples correctly but I’m leaning toward the one on the left. It will be lighter and more subtle. Then the hood range out of the antique organ top.
Anyone else have a project that’s taken over a year to finish?? Please let us not be the only ones 😫

Pumping myself up for today’s event with some huge sellers on the Whatnot app by reminding myself of all we have accomplished this year.

Some assume we have a team at Ivy Hollow, but it’s just Jack and me. We have pulled this off on top of being parents to 3 children and being active in our church community. Our family and friends have also supported us and made this possible, and for that I’m forever grateful.
And to everyone of you who have been part of this journey, whether that was here on IG before I found Whatnot, or those who pop in to say hey when we hit “start show” - you have played a vital role in our success!

Imposter syndrome loves to creep in when you need confidence most, but facts are your friends. The reality is that our hard work and God’s hand has brought us this far.
Why should I doubt now?? Onward & upward 🧚‍♀️🙌🏼

Some glass in the 19th and 20th centuries was made by adding uranium compounds to the glass mixture as a colorant, producing shades that can range from yellow and green to surprisingly subtle tones.
Under ultraviolet light, radioactive elements fluoresce, which is why a UV flashlight can be such a useful tool when hunting vintage and antique glass. Manganese will fluoresce a lighter green, selenium will turn pink, while cadmium is a bright orange.
It wasn’t limited to dishes and decorative glass as some think; you can find it hiding in beads, buttons, jewelry, and other tiny objects too.

Just another reason I shine a UV light on almost everything. 💚

Turns out, blooming doesn’t have an expiration date.
I used to think everyone was right when they said your 20s was your peak. But in my 30s, I’ve found more confidence, more peace, and a stronger sense of who I am. The good news is you can wake up one day and change the direction of your whole life.

Driving through Atlanta is actually top 5 things I wish I never had to do again in my life 🥲
In the 2 hours of traffic we laughed, we cried, we sang to stay sane

Not every shop, or smile, tear shed, every scream of excitement made it into this reel; but every single shop mattered.

This event has never been about one seller. It’s about choosing to use whatever platform we’ve been given to lift someone else a little higher.

Watching this community celebrate each other’s wins has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever been a part of.
