Snook Tournament sign-ups are open at Tampa Fishing Outfitters.

The JYG + Quantum Snook Tournament is coming up, and registration is available in store now through August 31.

To enter, you must stop by Tampa Fishing Outfitters and purchase a tournament legal ruler. A JYG or Lee Fisher Sports ruler will count as your entry, and you will need it for your tournament photo submissions.

This tournament includes both Open and Youth divisions, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each division.

Photo entry runs September 1–24, 2026, with the weigh-in party happening at 11 AM on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

We’ll have contest prizes, vendors, raffles, food, and more, so even if you are not fishing the tournament, this is still going to be a great day at the shop.

Registration is officially open for the JYG + Quantum Snook Tournament at Tampa Fishing Outfitters!

This tournament has two divisions: Open and Youth.

That means this is not just for the grown-ups. If you have a young angler who loves chasing snook, this is a great chance to get them involved, get them excited, and let them compete right alongside the rest of the fishing community.

We’ve got nail weights, Owner Double Frog Hooks, and Freak-O Rigs ready to help you fish these baits more ways.

Different hooks and weights give you different presentations, different sink rates, and a better chance of getting the hookup when a fish commits.
