Hey crafty friends! I am working on dates to do more Crafts & Drafts Meet Ups...

In the meantime, I'd love a little help on a project. As many of my lovely vendor friends know, my son needed open heart surgery last fall. He was showered with love and crocheted animals and lovies that had been donated to the hospital. He is very attached to them and truly think these things bring kids going through these things comfort.

One of his classmates this year (Kindergarten) was diagnosed with cancer and has to undergo a prolonged treatment plan including chemo. I wanted to make a plushie and beanie for him.

Then, Kristen at TRIBE Seminole Heights had been so generous with yarn, I thought to recruit some help in making beanies for Mayson and the other kids in treatment. Please reach out if you are able to make a beanie. I will provide the yarn. I have lots of soft yarn and small blanket yarn. I will buy patterns or share free ones that I have as well. I work from home on Fridays but can share pictures and leave bags out for porch pick up. I will collect and donate to both St. Joseph's Children's and Johns Hopkins All Children's hospitals.

Hello! While the market has been on indefinite hiatus, I still have the urge to gather. Starting Aug 3rd, I'm hosting a monthly Crafts & Drafts Gathering. This stemmed from my local crochet group, so this month we are hooking 😈😆

There will be optional craft learning kits guided by a local vendor available to purchase in future months. All folks and all crafts welcome. This is hosted at a cozy brewery so just be mindful of space.

This month I'll be bringing along yarn, hooks, patterns and learning materials for anyone who just wants to learn!

We are gathering at with on site, so bevs and bites are readily available.

Hi all my spooky loves! Lynsey here ☠️ I know it's been quiet on my end... We initially took July & August off because, well, the heat. Also because my son was scheduled for heart surgery at the beginning of August, and all of that lined up. I let many vendors know what was going on, and I planned to get things going again in September.

Things got pushed to the end of August, and we're still in the recovery phase at home. I'd love to say Drafts & Crafts will return in October, but it's likely going to be Nov if I can. I absolutely love what we had going and met so many amazing, like-minded folks that I cherish. I truly hope I will have the bandwidth to bring it back, but right now, the focus is on making our way out of the over-stimulated ever on edge portion of this ride.

In our absence, Deviant has started up their own little spooky market featuring some vendors that popped up at Drafts & Crafts and more. Definitely check it out. We may have a different venue when the return happens, but I'll keep y'all posted.
