♻️ Sustainable by Design ♻️

At AetherBeam, we’re not just about lighting the road ahead—we’re also thinking about the impact we leave behind. Every Retro Headlight Electronics Kit is packed with purpose:

📦 Recycled cardboard boxes
🔍 Laser-engraved graphics and instructions (no wasteful labels or stickers)
📲 QR code etched right onto the box for easy assembly access
📑 Sealed with branded paper tape using wheat glue adhesive—no plastic, no landfill guilt

We believe small choices lead to big change. So when you open your AetherBeam kit, you’re opening a product that’s built for both performance and planet.

💡 Ride smart. Ride sustainably.

After months of prototyping, sourcing, and refining—the AetherBeam Retro Headlight is nearly ready for takeoff.

Kits are boxed. 3D print files are uploaded to GitHub [https://github.com/creativepolymath/AetherBeamLEDs]. The batteries—after some real sourcing headaches—are finally upgraded to a better, more reliable LiPo supplier. And best of all? I already have a local shop ready and excited to stock the AetherBeam Retro Headlight on their shelves.

The final piece? Clear, concise printing and assembly instructions. That’s my current focus—and once those are done, AetherBeam officially ships.

This project started as a passion-fueled idea to bring sustainable, modular lighting to tinkerers and hobbyists like me. Now, it's nearly in your hands.

Want to support AetherBeam’s mission to make clean, creative lighting more accessible?

Grab a limited-edition t-shirt and rep the project: [https://mecht.org/aethert]

Every purchase helps push small-scale, sustainable tech forward.

If you're curious about the design or want to contribute, check out the open files on GitHub: [https://github.com/creativepolymath/AetherBeamLEDs]

And if you've got experience writing instructions that don’t confuse the reader—I’d love your input.

Let’s shine some light—modularly.

Visibility is Key
Cycling at night can be an enchanting experience, with the serenity of the streets and the cool breeze adding a touch of magic to your journey. However, it also comes with inherent risks, as reduced visibility can lead to accidents and hazards. To ensure a safe and enjoyable night ride, equipping your bicycle with proper lights is not just an option—it's a necessity.
One of the most crucial reasons for installing bicycle lights is to enhance your visibility on the road. A well-lit bicycle is easier for motorists and pedestrians to spot, reducing the likelihood of collisions. Front lights illuminate the path ahead, giving you a clear view of the road, while rear lights make you visible to vehicles approaching from behind. Investing in Aether Beam rechargeable, bright LED lights ensures you become a beacon of safety in the darkness.
