Found this old clip on my phone. It’s a great example of the tonal possibilities available through various pickup selection options. This particular Milton model has two “Hyper-Vintage” humbuckers made by - The neck humbucker has a coil split allowing it to be used as a single coil. It’s plugged directly into a Fender Princeton Recording Amp with the volume at about 5. Audio is just the iPhone mic.

“Black Hole Sun” starting clean with the neck pickup split to single coil > a little gain by switching the neck to full humbucker > a little more gain by switching to the bridge humbucker > back to clean on the neck split to single coil. No volume adjustments, no pedals, just pickup selection options.
