Cajun Shrimp Scampi - A Recipe You Don’t Wanna Miss!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup chopped shallots
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the shallots and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, and black pepper and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add the shrimp and cook until just pink, about 2 minutes.
5. Pour in the white wine and simmer until reduced by half, about 3 minutes.
6. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the butter, parsley, and lemon juice.
7. Simmer until the shrimp is cooked through
