This awesome compilation was my gateway into Jazz. Just look at that line-up! I’ve posted this LP a bunch of times and play it often, and I HIGHLY recommend it, especially for introducing Jazz newbies to the genre. After a few listens, I bought the LP’s most of this music came from, and I wasn’t disappointed in any of them in the least.

Here's one that I feel has been overlooked... Pressed for LP only once, in 1986, although it has been re-issued on CD. Reminds me of the old-school cool Jazz we all know and love. Worth having, if you come across one, especially on LP!

The first pressings of these got custom labels, instead of the blue Epic stock labels. Also, near the end of the song “Inoculated City” there’s a commercial for 2000 Flushes toilet cleaner. The company that made 2000 Flushes threatened to sue the hell out of them over it, so it was omitted from every other pressing. Strange but true!
