Red geraniums are one of our all-time favorites—but let’s be honest, keeping them happy in this Southern summer heat is a full-time job! 🌞 We buy them, they look fantastic for a few weeks… then suddenly—droopy leaves, no blooms, and heartbreak.

But this year, we still wanted that classic pop of red—so we tried something different. Can you tell which one in this window box is faux? 👀 That’s right… the red geranium is a fake, and we’re not even mad about it!

We’ve always been team fresh is best, but in the case of the ever-dramatic red geraniums, going faux was the right move. And y’all—they’re GOOD. They look real, feel real, and when planted alongside live greenery, you honestly can’t tell the difference! 🙌🏼🌿🌺

Moral of the story? Don’t be afraid to mix it up! There are so many great options out there to keep your outdoor spaces looking lush and lovely all season long—no wilting required!
