Hello, friends!
My name is Josie, and if you’ve visited Fat Cat Books, there’s a good chance you’ve seen me waiting by the door. Most people think I’m waiting to greet customers, while I do want to make sure everyone feels welcome, I’m also hoping that one day the right person will walk through that door for me.
When I was a kitten, I was found outside with an injured tail that had to be amputated. These days, that’s just part of my story and the origin of my adorable little bobtail. My favorite activities include requesting pets (vocally, of course), supervising the bookstore, and taking naps on the top shelf of the DVD section.
I’m 8 years old, incredibly sweet, and always ready to make a new friend. I’ve spent a lot of time welcoming people into the bookstore, but what I’d really love is a home of my own to welcome someone into every day.
Until then, you’ll find me by the door, saying hello to everyone who comes in and wondering if today might be the day I meet my family.
