Do you throw the Carolina Rig?

(You should) For those who don’t know The Carolina rig is a bottom contact setup featuring a weight and bead sliding freely on the main line above a swivel, which is tied to a leader that allows a soft plastic lure to float and dart naturally behind the weight as it drags along the bottom.

Do you put trailers on your spinnerbaits?

To trailer or not to trailer is the ultimate spinnerbait question. For us at DHT it’s a mix of yes, no, and when to as well as when not to.

If you want to catch more water and keep the bait higher in the water column then a trailer is the answer. If you want to cut through water and fish faster then no trailer is the answer.
