A new batch of Alaska Mittens is available in my Etsy Shop: Lazy Walrus, Jellyfish, Colorful Narwhales (Alaska’s real-life unicorn), Mushrooms, and Bull Moose among birch trees. Made from woolsweaters with felt appliqué, and lined with new, soft fleece. These wool mittens keep your hands toasty warm, and the designs are always a great conversation starter as you snowshoe, ski, hike, ice skate, or kicksled… Enjoy!

After a long Etsy Shop Vacation (sorry folks, my family needed me most, and my mind wasn’t in the right place to create mittens), I have added a few Ready-To-Ship mittens to my shop, but I won’t be taking custom orders until my schedule allows. In the meantime, I am planning to add batches of 5-10 pairs of Ready-To-Ship mittens on a regular basis.

Three of these Alaska Mittens sold within 15 minutes after going online in my Etsy shop! Woohoo, what a response!! Thank you! 😍

“Springtime Moose” woolsweater mittens. [SOLD] Yesterday, I scored a whole armload of woolsweaters, already nicely felted! I can’t wait to create artsy mittens for everyone!! What new designs should I think of this winter season? The jumping red foxes were a hit... the Narwals always are... and of course moose.

THANK YOU, friends! It was a tricky holiday season for me, because I ran out of woolsweaters earlier than expected. 😃 I guess that’s a good “problem” to have after having created many artsy mittens for my customers. I hope to find many woolsweaters next time I’m at the thrift store, so please keep an eye on my Etsy Shop and Instagram for a “back to work” announcement. Happy Holidays, friends! Stay healthy! Stay six feet apart or more and outdoors (with warm hands), and always wear a mask. Make good choices! I send my love to all.

Thank you, friends, for so many mitten orders this year! I appreciate your support and your trust. I sadly won’t be able to take any new orders until I have refreshed my woolsweater supply, so my Etsy Shop is in vacation mode now, and likely until January. I will try to create a few more pairs of mittens for those of you who have reached out to me by email/messenger (I’ll try my best to fulfill your wishes, but can’t promise with my dwindling supply). I hope to score many woolsweaters the next couple of times I’m at the thrift store in the “big city”... wish me luck. 😷🧼
