There's always some interpretation when taking a customer interview and turning it into a frame design. Did I hit the mark?

So I love it when customer feedback looks like this:

Finally made it out for a proper first ride! It's awesome. Soaks up all the vibrations and puts down the power in all the right ways. Steering is telepathic, it's great.

Today I will be in Chehalis supporting the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic. Doing my best to keep the riders going.

A huge congratulations to Callie McKay, who won the drawing for a custom bike frame and fork at the BuDu Racing Lake Stevens Triathlon this past Saturday.

When this picture was taken, Callie believed she had won a *picture* frame. She was so much more excited when she learned it was a BIKE frame!

Hello all, happy Friday and Skol!

Due to some issues migrating my email over to an Outlook support type, I've decided to scuttle the ".com" addresses and just create a new address. Henceforth, the email will be "mjolnir.cycles@ yahoo.com". If anyone has sent me anything over the last couple weeks and it seems like I've ignored it, please re-send it to the new address.

Mjolnir Cycles will *not* be providing mechanical support for the 2020 RAMROD... since it's been cancelled. But I'll be there, ride managers willing, to support the 2021 ride.

RAMROD COVID-19 Update (May 4th)

Hello again to our friends throughout the RAMROD community - we hope that you and your families are continuing to do well.

Following the governor’s May 1st update and an ongoing assessment of state and national infection rates and outlook, we have determined that it will not be possible to hold RAMROD in 2020.

We love putting on this ride for you and we will miss being together and celebrating with you in July. We appreciate your understanding, patience and support with the circumstances and our desire to hold the safety and well-being of our riders, volunteers, partners and communities at the highest of priorities.

We now turn our attention to our registered cyclists and will be reaching out to share the details about transfers and refunds. If you hold a registration, you are automatically transferred for a 2021 registration securing you a spot in 2021 with no additional registration charges or action to take. If you would like to keep your spot but receive a full refund (minus transaction fees) and pay again in 2021 during the registration window, you may request this. You can also cancel your 2021 registration and receive a full refund (minus transaction fees). To receive a refund, you will need to contact us by June 1st. For additional details and links to forms, visit the RAMROD Registration Page: http://redmondcyclingclub.org/RAMROD/RAMROD_registration.html

RAMROD in 2021 will be something special to look forward to and it is sure to be a glorious day.

Until then, please take care, stay healthy and stay safe.

With the cancellation of the 2020 Seattle to Portland, I won't be doing the mechanical support at Spanaway and Vader, as I had planned. Seems odd for Cascade to be pulling the plug with three months to go, but everyone has to set their decision gates somewhere. Hopefully the 2021 version will go off without a hitch.

We are officially canceling most of our 2020 Cascade event riding season. We could not be more disappointed in this decision, but we know that it is the right one for our community, our partners, and our staff. The only events currently moving forward as planned are our June 19 Bike Everywhere Day...

I was providing bike mechanical support at the BuDu Racing Bonney Lake Triathlon this morning. Yesterday just a little before 3pm, I get a call from a number identified only as "New Jersey". I figure it's just a spoofed number and it'll just be a robo-ad call. Turns out it was a gentleman whose bike was damaged (broken fork) by the airline flying into Seattle. He called me due to my sponsorship of the race series, asking if he could rent a bike from my shop. Fortunately he's close enough to my size that one of my personal bikes worked for him. I swapped in his pedals and saddle/seatpost, and he was off to the races. Seemed to work well enough.
