Hi friends! Jen here! Exciting things are coming for Milla and Me. ☺️

My husband .graphics and I have decided to convert our detached garage into our new shared studio. I'm beyond excited. I will be going from a 8x12 ft shed about 96sf to a 400sf beautiful space.

The shed has been great, however I find myself working both in the shed and our home. Our home is under 1000sf so it starts to feel very crowded and messy when my sewing takes over. I'm also having to travel back and forth a lot.

I feel like this will give both of our businesses so much room to grow and the whole family will be able to hang out in the studio together.

I will post a video of my current studio in my stories. I tried to be awesome and do a video of me talking but my anxiety level is 💯 😅.

I'm so thankful. I couldn't be doing this without all of the continued support. I feel so lucky. 🥰

The sun has been shining here the last few days and the days are slowly getting longer. I've definitely noticed a boost in my mood and productivity levels. ☀️

I have been a little quiet on here lately but I really appreciate all of you who continue to stick around and support me. It really means a lot! 💞

Happy Friday friends! You may have seen recently in my stories that we have chosen to get rid of our TV. It's been about a week now and I'm loving it.

Our house is not filled with random noise anymore. My kids are being more creative and playing a lot more. I feel less guilty about the amount of screen time they are consuming.

All in all it's been great. Im sure we will miss it at times especially my 8 year old, but she'll get used to it 😜. Is there anything that you've decided to say goodbye to this year?

Do you make New Years resolutions? Last year my goal was to try and get out of the house more, make new friends and connections in real life. Ha! Well we all know how that turned out 😜. Im thankful for all of the connections I've made online but I really want to meet these friends in person someday. 🤞 Here's hoping this year will be better.

As I look back at the previous year in business, there are lots to be proud of. I hit a couple big milestones for myself, which I never expected. Numbers can be fun and exciting to track and I really enjoyed reaching some goals I had set. With that being said I think my biggest takeaway is simply that this business brings me so much joy. I love making and creating. It really has helped me get through this crazy year. I'm just going to keep plugging away and see what 2021 will bring. Happy New Year friends!
