Join us Friday, April 3rd at 6PM at Puget Sound Fly Shop for a fun night at the vise. Whether you’re brand new or have been tying for years, this night is all about hanging out, tying flies, and talking fishing.

We’ll be tying two flies for the upcoming season, sharing tips, and getting geared up for spring fishing.

Pizza provided. All skill levels welcome.
Bring your vise and tools if you have them. If not we have 7 vices available.

Fly Bin Refresh — Just in Time for Spring Fishing

We just restocked the bins with RIO and Solitude flies, and the timing couldn’t be better.

Out in the Sound, it’s chum fry season, which means sea-run cutthroat are on the hunt. We’ve got plenty of fry patterns ready to go if you’re chasing fish along the beaches.

If you’re heading east to the Yakima, keep an eye out — Skwala stoneflies are starting to hatch, and the trout are looking up.

And if you thought Dolly Llamas couldn’t get any better… check out the new Mini Dolly Llamas and Flashtail Minis. Same fish-moving profile in a smaller package that’s perfect for trout and bull trout.

Fly Tying Night | January 21st

Join us on January 21st as we tie a simple, effective intruder pattern that flat-out gets eaten. This is a great pattern for steelhead season and an awesome intro to intruder-style flies without getting overly complicated.

First Bull Trout of 2026

Kicked off the year the right way with the first bull trout of 2026. Cold water, chrome spots, and a fly that did exactly what it was supposed to do. Always grateful to spend time with fish like this—quick photo in the net and sent back strong.
