This is the first blanket I ever made (In truth, the first thing I ever sewed) 17 years ago for the man who would become my husband. It had become so tattered after so long and countless washings, so I took the entire thing apart and put it back together. I added a brown edge to it as the fabrics had become pretty fragile. And of course a new back. I think it turned out pretty good. I love you, honey. Thank you for being my inspiration in a hobby I fell totally in love with. And thank you, mommy, for being such a patient teacher. I love being able to share this amazing and frustrating art with you.❤
