I am absolutely thrilled. My loving husband is crafting a beautiful "store" for me in our breezeway, specifically designed for Deborah Valentino and me to bring our vision to life. We've been enthusiastically brainstorming this concept for months, and now it's taking shape. With windows installed on both sides, the natural light will pour in, illuminating the space. Initially, we were unsure about the ceiling, but my ingenious husband proposed using soffit, which is turning out perfectly. This project is a true labor of love, especially considering his physical challenges. Despite struggling with shoulder pain and limited mobility, he's poured his heart and soul into this. Although we're not commercially zoned, we're excited to host pop-up events. Please send positive thoughts our way for a successful launch.

On Saturday, Deborah Valentino and I met a lovely artist at a yard sale. Her name is Jess. We immediately hit it off. She was casually painting in the middle of madness. 🤣. Jess said that the art community needs to support each other. I whole heartedly agree.

Another one of my passions is gardening. With my asthma and old age 😂 I have learned that I have to limit myself. Last year hubby and I created a small area in the driveway ... all pots / containers. This weekend, I put the crochet hook down and went out and began cleaning up. Progress is being made.

Due to the impending weather, the Arts in the Village Market Day is postponed. I am appreciative of this decision. Alot goes into the planning of this event but I am thankful they respect the time that vendors put into making their products and the chance of them being ruined by weather. The plan is to hold the event the end of September. I hope to see you there. Ann and Deborah.
