From my parent’s basement at age 16 to now: Fifteen years of Ish Guitars deserved something extra special. We created this exclusive Anniversary Wood Library Custom 24 run in collaboration with PRS to mark our milestone - plus celebrate the relationship with PRS that has made much of this business possible.
Avery and I (Jesse) hand-picked these insane One-Piece 10-Top Quilt Maple tops at the PRS Factory - then requested they be finished in the Private Stock color called Amaretto Fade, which was dreamed up by one of our employees (thanks Scott!). This is the first-ever time Amaretto Fade is available in the Core line.
We continue the killer specs with a beautiful Brazilian Rosewood fretboard on top of a solid East Indian Rosewood neck for superior resonance and response, plus elegant Gold Mother of Pearl J-Bird inlays. A custom “Ish” logo truss rod cover tops it off, designed exclusively for this 15th anniversary collection.
There are 10 total guitars in this run: 5 of this configuration (Mahogany body/Rosewood neck), and 5 with Swamp Ash bodies and curly maple necks and fretboards. We will likely never be able to replicate this special spec ever again - get one before they are gone!
