It’s unfortunate that this country stands so divided for America’s 250th bday, but New York City has been such a hub for culture, for diversity…it has been the landing place for so many of our ancestors from other countries…including the ancestors of those who now choose to “other”….that it feels correct to honor one of its oldest neighborhoods.

Coney Island is a place so many New Yorkers and tourists look forward to all year. Both beach AND amusement park; you feel it’s rich history of joy and togetherness when you stroll the boardwalk. It’s open, available and accessible to everyone..even mermaids for their annual parade!

This menu is in honor of that…of a people united…who love each other and celebrate accordingly.

You guys have spent so much time making a simple green couch that we thought looked too “Kermie” into a fixture in our space that holds memories and creates community. It’s not the couch from Friends (if it were, Trav would def be Rachel) but it’s a real life energy creator that exudes all the H. Grey vibes…diversity, community, inclusion!
