A true staple inside the McCarthy Building 🍱

Aloha Bento Japanese has been part of this building for years, bringing consistency, flavor, and heart to Downtown Syracuse every single day.

Their menu is everything you want when it comes to fresh, satisfying Japanese cuisine; bento boxes, sushi, teriyaki, noodles, and comforting favorites that keep people coming back again and again.

But what truly makes Aloha Bento special goes beyond the food.

It’s the people.

They are some of the kindest, most gracious individuals you’ll meet; welcoming every customer with warmth and care that makes you feel like more than just a quick stop for lunch.

Places like this are what give a building its soul.

We’re proud to have them here, and even prouder to watch them continue to serve the community they’ve been part of for so long.

Earth Day at the McCarthy Building 🌿

Spaces like remind us that sustainability doesn’t always mean starting from scratch, it can mean bringing new life into what already exists.

Inside our walls, local businesses are doing just that. From plants that brighten everyday spaces to experiences that bring people together, it’s all part of creating something more thoughtful, more connected, and more sustainable.

Today (and every day), we’re proud to support the people who make these spaces feel alive.

Each student will be presenting to a panel of judges for the opportunity to win 🏆 prizes to enhance their business!

After weeks of guest lectures from local black & brown instructors, all of whom are deeply embedded in the arts and business sectors, it’s the students turn to take the podium and pitch their cultural concepts!
