The AIFD American Institute of Floral Designers is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of floral design as a professional career. To become a certified AIFD designer, you must pass a written test as well as a 4 hour hands design test- think Iron Chef, but with flowers.

This is a journey I began when I was pregnant with my now, 11 year old and finished when I was inducted in 2023. As the only AIFD Certified Floral Designer in Northwest Ohio, I am excited to be attending the AIFD Symposium in Orlando next week as the Workshop Coordinator and attend my first Board Meeting as a Board Member of the North Central Chapter. I love giving back to the floral community and can't wait to see my floral friends!
