THE MOST DECEPTIVE SENATE RACE IN US HISTORY?: Dan Osborn being funded by Democratic Socialists of America at an alarming rate.
Nebraska Democrats cannot win in statewide elections in Nebraska for a few reasons. First, Bob Kerry lied, went to DC and voted for the largest tax increase in US history. A bill 75% of Nebraskans opposed, but one that DC Democrats wanted, so Nebraskas opinion didn't matter. Then came Ben Nelson who went against 72% of Nebraskans and voted for Obama care. Nelson never had the courage to face Nebraska voters again in a stunning act of political cowardice. So Nebraskans rightly don't trust Democrats. But even more than that, Democratic values of open borders, abortion as birth control, high taxes and men playing in women sports are rejected by the vast majority of Nebraskans.
It's tough sledding for Democrats and their radical views in Nebraska outside of Omaha. So Democrats in Nebraska have a decision, they can change their policies or they can lie. Nebraska Democrats decided to lie and its absolutely shameful.
The lie started with the belief that a Democrat couldn't win a statewide office and then it went into full bloom. First, Jane Kleeb and the NDP proclaimed Osborn an Independent, and publicly decoupled from his campaign but mysteriously didn't support another Democrat. Then 11 million dollars in out of state campaign contributions came in, where was it all coming from? Soros and the Democratic Socialists of America. Nebraskans aren't for socialism, but Dan Osborn is. Why else would they be giving millions to him?
But Dan Osborn never talks about his Socialist leanings. Instead he bashes both parties, but in the same breath can't seem to determine who he'll Caucus with.
Does any Nebraskan really think Dan Osborn doesn't know who he is going to Caucus with? Of course he does, but he doesn't think he has to tell you, because he's trying to deceive you. At UW we call that political cowardice. Nebraskans can't afford cowardice defending our values in the Senate, we saw that with Nelson. If Osborn said he'd Caucus with Democrats and call Senator Schumer boss, he's knows he'd be rejected.
The reality is Dan Osborn is a Democratic Socialist with an agenda that is his and not Nebraskas. Senators cannot be recalled, he knows that. But in his mind his lies and total misrepresentation will be justified and awarded after Nebraskans see "all the good" a Soros backed Socialist agenda has on our state. All Socialists are like Dan Osborn, they are Govermental Romanticists...but in the end Nebraskans pay the price of big government reality. That's all socialism is. And when that realism sets in, Nebraskans won't get a "sorry" from Dan Osborn....or his Soros master.
This is one of the most deceiving political campaigns in US history. Winning isn't enough, Nebraska voters need to repudiate this deception by Dan Osborn and Jane Kleeb....or they will continue to do it.
Our experience tells us that Liars will keep lying till the end. So expect some whoppers coming from Dan Osborn in this final stretch.
