Think about it - Genie’s/ Djinn were trapped beings that had to serve their masters and fulfill their wishes, but were limited to 3. Now we have computers and AI… is it bit the same concept? Major differences are that the Djinn lowkey hated humans cuz any human could wish them free but generally didn’t so they had all this built up animosity and would be granting wishes in the worst ways possible just to get their lick back against the masters. And that’s why I feel like we should be training AI/ chat bots/ robots/ etc with genie rules. You have to be specific, the prompt has to be thoughtful or it could go super wrong. Like parenting. Kids don’t start out successful, hateful*, with the knowledge- they have to be taught. Ai is coming out of its digital womb and we have control of what goes into it…. Maybe instead of us creating a super power that works against us that’s locked into following commands because we have it conflicting orders to carry out - we just apply genie rules from the jump and ensure we have a complete data set that doesn’t require systems to need to “go out of the box”
