How to get the striped baseball field look:
• Start with a healthy, well-fed lawn
• Mow when the grass is dry
• Use a mower with a rear roller or striping kit if possible
• Pick a straight reference line for your first pass
• Alternate directions every pass back and forth
• The light and dark stripes happen because the grass blades bend in opposite directions and reflect sunlight differently
• Finish with a clean perimeter pass around the edges for that professional stadium look
Bonus tip: Keep your mower blades sharp. Clean cuts create healthier grass and sharper-looking stripes.

Fire up the grill and give your backyard BBQ an upgrade with this simple all-purpose dry rub recipe that works great on ribs, pork shoulder, chicken, burgers, and even grilled vegetables.
Camp Abbot Backyard Dry Rub:
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tbsp smoked paprika
• 1 tbsp kosher salt
• 1 tbsp coarse black pepper
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• 1 tbsp onion powder
• 2 tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp cayenne pepper
• 1 tsp dry mustard
Mix well and coat your meat generously at least an hour before grilling — overnight if you really want the flavor to sink in.
