We gave this old 1985 Shasta a second life, and honestly, the inside is my favorite place to be. Cozy, simple, and made for good times with family and friends.
It may not be the fanciest camper out there, but it’s ours—and we love every inch of it. 🏕️❤️

I feel the need to post this - not to minimize the losses and devastation, but to put things into a bit sharper focus:
#1 - British Columbia is a HUGE province - bigger than France and Germany combined (or the whole of the UK, plus Ireland, plus northern France) - encompassing FIVE different ecological zones. ONE of these zones is always at high risk for fires during ‘the fire season’, with another two that can sometimes be at risk depending on the climate year.
#2 - the world (province 🤪) does not end at Hope. Or Kamloops. There is a beautiful section of this province that is almost always (in the case of Prince Rupert: always) SMOKE FREE. We have beautiful campgrounds in Port Edward, Terrace, Prudhomme Lake, Lakelse Lake, and beyond. Amazing scenery. Campsites ranging from rustic forest service sites (Extew River for example) to full service pull through sites, including shower facilities….
Please don’t tell the world to stay away from British Columbia because the southern Interior is burning as usual. 😢
