I WROTE DOWN "HAPPY"..THEY TOLD ME I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT...I TOLD THEM THEY DIDNT UNDERSTAND ME" !!!!

"The Snowman"s hat was Crooked and his Nose was out of place and Several of of his Whiskers had fallen from his Face but The Snowman didn't notice for He was trying To Think of A New Years Resolution that wouldn't Melt or Shrink

He Thought and Planned and Pondered with His little Snowball Head till His eyes began to glisten and His toes begin to Spread

At Last He said..I've Got it!!! I'll make a firm Resolve...No matter What the Weather...My Smile will Not Dissolve..

Now The Snowman acted Wisely and His Resolution won ..For His new Smile was Wooden and didn"t mind the Sun!!! Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I learned this poem in 5th grade.. It started me on the Road to "loving" Poetry" Thank You Mr.Carlyles"!!
