Feeling extra giddy for the special mom receiving this whimsical piece for Mother’s Day! Hope she feels the same whimsy I felt in creating it. 📦❤️☺️🦋 I’m enamored with the Madagascar Sunset Moth in this pendant not only for its mesmerizing colors, but because of the significance of its name. The Malagasy people call it Adriandolo or Lolonandriana, from lolo for “spirit” and andriana for “noble” or “king,” meaning “noble butterfly,” “noble spirit” or “king spirit.” 💕👸🏻🦋👩‍👧‍👧🥰

My ❤️ flutters as I prep today’s shipment and one of my most requested items: a teardrop pendant encapsulating the wing of a real Monarch butterfly 🦋🦋🐛 It has been documented that these little guys average over 50 km per day on their southward migration for the security of their progeny. Perhaps it’s this tenacity in their amazing migration each year and their labor of love for their offspring that makes me compare them to strong women, single moms, and cancer survivors–the essence of beauty and strength embodied in this delicate, amazing creature ~ All my specimens are ethically-sourced and allowed to live their full lifespan in farms and sanctuaries or collected from my very own garden after they’ve passed on to a better life.
