For 2020 seniors, high school ended without the chance to say goodbye. They didn’t get to participate in “Senior Skip Day”. So far, they haven’t had their prom and there’s no definitive plans for graduation. Their last year of school just ended. No fanfare. No celebrations. My heart breaks for them. They missed so many teenage “rights of passage” that most (if not all) of us got to experience.
Nothing can replace the memories that remain unmade, dances left undanced, pranks left unpulled, senior trips left untaken, or even the tests that will remain undone.
We, as a community, have stepped up in true fashion and tried to ease some of the sadness (and yes, stress) these young adults are feeling. If you haven’t already, I urge you to check out (and adopt, if you’re able) the Adopt A Senior SULPHUR HIGH EDITION or PARKVIEW EDITION and Uplifting & Gifting SHS Class of 2020. I’m not sure if there’s a similar group for the other area schools, but if there’s not, there should be. If there is, please either comment or pm me the name so I can recognize those pages as well)
Since I can’t adopt every senior, I’m gonna do a few giveaways. No, you don’t need to like, share, and/or tag anyone, simply PM me the following information :
