It’s hard to believe that it’s been fourteen years since we first opened the doors of The Mix Mercantile.

From day one, our customers have believed in us, supported us, and continued to show up for us—and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

We started in a small building on the west side of Muskogee. Just two years later, we took a leap of faith, completely renovating a 100-year-old building and moving into our present location.

Over these past 14 years, we’ve experienced incredible highs and some heartbreaking lows. We’ve faced personal losses, challenges, and a devastating tornado that took everything from us. But seventeen months later, to the very day, we reopened our doors to a tremendous crowd.

That day, we introduced you to a new and improved Mix Mercantile, along with two new additions: The Loft and Patio 1924.

Through sheer will, determination, and perseverance, we came back.

But more than anything, we came back because of you.

We love this community. We love its people. And over the years, so many of our customers have become dear friends and part of the Mix family.

Thank you, Sulphur, for standing beside us, believing in us, and continuing to support us through it all. Fourteen years later, we are still here—and we couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

Today we’re cheering on one of our own as she starts her next big adventure.

While we’re definitely sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more proud of our girl. Thank you for the smiles, the hard work, and for being such a special part of our family.
