The Village had special visitors from Illinois this week. Margie Koeppl Schleutermann and her family came to see the Cuckoo Clock. Margie's grandfather, father, and cousins helped build the Cuckoo Clock when it was commissioned by Alice Grossniklaus in 1963. The clock was completed in 1975 and was located at Alpine Alpa restaurant in Wilmot, Ohio. The clock was moved to Sugarcreek in 2012 where it is the major attraction on the village square.
