Driver Music Fest on Saturday Night Is proud to announce that a young and upstart dou will be preforming this Saturday at 6:45 until 9:30.
Josh and Molly are a brother/ sister duo who perform a variety of music together, including folk, country, and classic rock. They've participated in several shows around town and are opening up for The Malpass Brothers with The Old Dominion Barn Dance at Beacon Theatre in Hopewell next weekend.
Molly just finished up her first year at University of Virginia where she was a part of an acapella group called The Virginia Silhooettes and a band called Drop Out. Josh is a junior at Nansemond Suffolk Academy where he plays on his high school football team.
They asked to play on the front porch about 5 years ago and blew me away with their talent. Heard them 2 years ago at a Christmas event and recognized the voices, but how much their vocals matured was amazing. Can't wait to hear them now..
Remember this is for the community, and without community help it can't go on. We need the community to support the donations just for attending, support the raffles. All donations like this go directly to the preformers. The Knot Hole Station does not receive any compasation from this, except to showcase our store. We are trying to get the vast new neighbors to come out, meet your neighbors and make new friends. Driver has always been a tight community and we welcome you to be a part of it. So come on out, make a point of shaking a new hand and introduce yourself. You will be happy you did, after all you moved to "Gods County", As us old timers call it. We need your support to keep this going and providing you with great tallent. The store has cold drinks and snacks. I believe we have a group cooking hotdogs and County Ham biscuits.
