Some people buy a new phone every year because they notice their phone start to slow down and glitch every time a new phone is released.
The truth is that your phone slows down after a year due to battery degradation. It’s programmed into your devices operating system to throttle performance so your phone holds a charge longer until the battery is replaced.
Assuming they make 50k per year after taxes, they spend roughly 2% on their income on cell phones. That means they work a little over one week per year just to pay for a cell phone. If they were to just change the battery though me, they would pay about 10% of the cost of new phone and save about $900 per year.
You don’t need a new phone, you need a new battery.
(But if you need a new phone, also come to me 🥰)
