The goldfish are catching big bass around the county reports coming in daily from Lake Mauzy and Moffits along with our neighboring county lakes. We have talked to our local fisherman the sizes are averaging 6 to 8 lbs. The stripers at the dam and deep tributaries are being caught on 3" and 4" shad bodies white and green using 1 oz jig head. The catfish are moving in to rocky points to spawn and stage up. We have the baits to catch all these fish from our local waters. Highly recommend the goldfish and large shiners but if artificial is your thing we got that too. No crappie reports this morning but that will be updated soon later today. Yesterday was an amazing day as I sit out in the shop I could hear the rain pouring down and thought today be good day to take inventory and clean store but to my surprise the first customer pulled in then the second then the third all day long yall just kept coming and it was just awesome got me out of cleaning and you guys caught fish. Now that was a success. I have a very special place on lake barkley that you can catch slabs year round from 95° to 10° the water is deep and clear year round one lucky customer will get to go with me personally and we will catch slab after slab on the hottest day or the coldest day on fathead minnows cane pole is all we will need and a crappie net. And of course a very large cooler. We will be drawing for that trip in July. On the menu Thurs through Sun Goldfish, large shiners, and 2 lbs of fathead's we got crickets, meal worms, Super worms and Nitecrawlers,stink bait and skipjack. Come see us if your having that craving to get out on the water. Don't worry about the rain we got poncho's here too. We will be adding some more surprises to give aways on Aug 8. What yall think about the ugliest boat contest. Or even better the ugliest fisherman contest thank God I dont qualify I would surely win that.

On the menu this weekend goldfish, large shiners and fatheads. Our bluegill and rosey reds are in full spawn wont be ready till fall but we have 50 dozen freshly package SW worms for the panfish guys 30 dozen Nitecrawlers plump and juicy Sonnys stinky bait by the oz or by the tub. Fresh skipjack arriving daily for that Ohio River Hog. We also sale and install pond fountains and areators we stock ponds with the best most healthy baifish to feed yalls fish you can buy 1 lb or 100 lbs we pick, sort pack and deliver. You can come by pick the baitfish you want right out of our ponds. We have a large selection of jerk baits and plugs buy 2 get 1 free. In Aug giving away a new boat dont forget about that come by ask Ms. Susie or give us a call. We have a very large selection of crappie jigs all custom made in our shop along with plastic worms if you can think it up we can make it. In the Spring of 2027 we will start construction on our in house breeding facility where you can drive through our building and load them buckets and never have to get out of truck just pull your boat in load up and drive out. Just a reminder we have adjusted our hours Sun, Mon, Tues 7am till 5pm Wed 7am till 12pm Wed is our day for deliveries to our wholesale customers and our ponds and store maintenance.
