We are thrilled to have the official voice of Mickey Mouse - Bret Iwan as a Special Guest at StocktonCon 2019 (Aug. 3-4, 2019), presented by Utility Telecom!

Bret has voiced Mickey Mouse for Kingdom Hearts III, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Epic Mickey, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance , Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Disney Infinity Game Series, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Chip ‘n Dale’s Nutty Tales, and Mickey and the Roadster Racers.

Iwan has loved the legacy and story behind Disney for as long as he can remember, but he never dreamed life would take him where it has: to voice the world s most recognizable character, and carry on a legacy he has always held in great esteem. Sometimes amazing things happen that are more wonderful than you could ever imagine. After graduating high school in 2000, Bret decided to pursue his love of art in hopes of becoming an animator or possibly a Disney Imagineer. Bret completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2004 and moved to Kansas City to start a successful career at Hallmark Greeting Cards. Just before Bret s fifth anniversary with Hallmark, he received an email from a college friend and PIXAR animator, explaining that phone auditions were being accepted to become the understudy to the voice of Mickey Mouse. Bret practiced for a few days, called in and recorded his phone audition, and then anxiously waited to hear back. Weeks later, he received a call that would put things in motion. After several auditions, Bret was offered his dream job as the fourth official voice of the beloved character Mickey Mouse, drawn and first voiced by Walt Disney. Bret moved to Los Angeles in September 2009 to start the next chapter of his life. His first recording was Animal Kingdom s Adventurers Celebration in June 2009. Around that same time, Bret was introduced to Collectors Editions and the Disney Fine Art program by an old college friend from Ringling… none other than Disney Artist Tim Rogerson. This began a great collaborative relationship between Bret and Disney Fine Art for whom he has created several wonderful portraits of the famous mouse, effectively merging Bret’s life as an artist and illustrator with his new career voicing the most recognizable animated character in the world, Mickey Mouse. Since beginning with Disney, he has met and enjoyed working with the rest of “the gang”. Never in a million years would he have guessed that this is where life would take him.

Please welcome our newest client to the CelebWorx family, the original voice of Barney, Bob West!

Bob West began his career in voice over with the world's longest and craziest demo cassette in 1979. After graduating college, it took only five years for Bob to ditch his day job and devote all of his efforts to voice acting.

As a leading voice in comedy dialog radio commercials, Bob built his clientele, recording everything from national television voice overs to highly technical narrations. On one day, Bob had four recording sessions in three cities – a flying, talking marathon.

In 1987, Bob was cast as the voices of Jasper and Pasqually – two of the animatronic characters at Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza. He spoke and sang as those crazy bots for ten years.

In 1988, Bob was cast as the voice of Barney the Dinosaur. The PBS series, "Barney & Friends,” went on to top early-childhood ratings, even besting the venerable “Sesame Street.”

With audio books, interactive talking toys, a radio series, international personal appearances, and visits to children's hospitals, Barney kept Bob talking, and running. Highlights of Barney's "Elvis Years" include twelve sold-out live performances at Radio City Music Hall; international live TV appearances; an Emmy® nomination, and Barney presenting live; and Bob receiving RIAA-certified sales awards for Multi-Gold and Multi-Platinum record sales.

Since Barney began, more than 90 million videos have been sold around the world. The PBS series ran for 24 years in the US, and was seen – along with localized versions – in 100 countries and more than 280 territories, with some countries still airing the program.

On August 28, 2018, Bob and Barney celebrated the 30th anniversary of the release of those first home videos, and Barney fans are now having kids of their own, passing down the tradition. Who knows where Barney will go next!
