That’s lot’l AXOLOTLS!!

Introducing our new favorite bucket hat by Natalie Santini from Sew Hungry Hippy 💙🩷

This hat comes in a variety of sizes, and a variety brim widths, so you can choose the perfect hat for you (it’s also reversible!!).

This hat was made by one of our staff members, Morgan. As a former biologist she wanted to share some cool info about these fascinating aquatic salamanders.

FUN FACTS:

🦎They do not complete metamorphosis and stay a juvenile 1/2 tadpole for life!

🦎They also have the superpower to regenerate their limbs and even organs!

🦎 These amphibians are endemic to (only found in ONE place) to the high-altitude freshwater canals and wetlands of Lake Xochimilco in southern Mexico City!

Projects like these are great to see because they foster creativity AND teach the value of generosity, kindness, and giving back to the community. Mrs. Gullion is a treasured member of our sewing family and we're grateful for everything she does to inspire the next generation of makers. Job well done to all of the students! 🤩🙌

Our Family and Consumer Science classes led by Mrs. Gullion finished sewing their 72nd quilt. All of them will be donated to the Stroudsburg Community. Great job!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and former colleague, Margaret, known to all of us as Peggy.

Peggy was part of our family for more than seven years, and her impact on our business and our community cannot be overstated. She began her time with us working in the store and at trade shows, where so many of you had the pleasure of meeting her. Through her dedication, talent, and genuine love for helping others, she eventually became our Fabric Manager, guiding countless customers in selecting the perfect colors and materials for their projects.

Peggy had a special gift. Not just for fabric and design, but for people. She was endlessly kind, patient, and generous. Whether you needed help choosing the right shade or simply someone to brighten your day, Peggy was always there with a smile, thoughtful advice, and a willingness to go above and beyond.

She gave so much of herself to everyone around her, and her absence will be deeply felt by our team and by the many customers whose lives she touched. She was sunshine personified, and the way that she lit up our lives will always be cherished.

We are incredibly grateful for the years we shared with Peggy and for the warmth, creativity, and compassion she brought into our lives. She will always be remembered as a truly special part of our story.

Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Make a day of it by exploring downtown Palmerton, where a fun scavenger hunt invites visitors to shop, stroll, and experience local businesses in a whole new way.

Getting around is simple and convenient, with easy parking available both downtown and at the high school, plus free shuttle buses connecting all event locations.

Make sure to stop by the Vendor Mall at St. John Neumann School and say hi to Paul! He'll be there with awesome show deals you won't want to miss.
