Here is the before and after of this beautiful press being restored. It is going to be the show stopper in my workshop! Now I just need to find a local person that does laser engraving for a brass plate to put my logo on the front of the armature.

A little sneak peak at the process of Bookbinding that I do. This book is being bound in full raised band, which is sadly a dead style for books. This was extremely popular from the 8th century, all the way until the 16th century, but reachiny it's popularity in European binding in the 15th century. This particular book is almost halfway done, and the entire process was not shown, but the majority was. Most of the video is sped up by x20, and I only showed sewing around 5 of the 22 signatures.
