Happy weekend! There are new and fresh items in the bakery case at Ponderosa Market. Today’s strawberry 🍓 treat is called a Strawberry Sweetheart. It’s a cute heart made of flaky pastry dough and fresh strawberry filling. Grab one for someone special or to celebrate yourself because YOU DESERVE IT!! 🍓💕

There are also fresh pieces of blueberry and cherry pie. No better time than when the fruit is in season!!

I was fortunate enough to end up with a box of Colorado peaches. And what exactly did I do with said peaches????

1. Combine with raspberries for Blushing Peach Pie
2. Traditional peach pie made with Vietnamese cinnamon. (If you’ve never had the cinnamon, it’s a MUST TRY.)
3. Caramelized peach muffins
4. Peach blueberry scones

Pie slices will be available at the Ponderosa Market. Find muffins and scones at the Stripes gas station in Pine.

Sometimes I need to pause the chaos and enjoy my creations and the rain. Today has had me all over the flavor map: New lemon white chocolate cookies, Midnight in Strawberry Mocha (a dark chocolate espresso cookie), and now blueberry cheesecake. I’m thankful for the chance to live in the peace and provide something special for the people in my tiny town.

Well, we’ve named them the Camping Carb Coma Cookies. They don’t break, they STRETCH!! They are at the Ponderosa Market in Pine! Don’t forget a napkin or wet wipe. The are an oooey gooey mess!

Brand new cookie idea for NYGB!! Our forests are on a burn restriction, but you can still get your s’mores this way with a giant S’Mores cookie: semi sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate Hershey’s bar, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker chunks. At 4.6 oz each, these are a pretty big treat!!! Enjoy!
