OUR FIRST TEACHER APPRECIATION PLANNER BEDAZZLE EVENT was a HIT!
There were laughs. Bonding. Chatting. Understanding. Acknowledgement. Respect. And love in a room of teachers, most who met for the first time.
Teachers from schools representing towns like: Stratford, Bridgeport, Norwalk, Fairfield, Westport, and West Haven.
We even had a surprised teacher from Bethel who stopped in to find her next book, and received a group chant of “HAVE A WONDERFUL SCHOOL YEAR,” as she left the shop.
Book club ideas were shared, next book selection suggestions were made, side hustle ideas were considered, and our next bedazzling event is in the works.
THANK YOU TO OUR TEACHERS, those who made it to our event today, and those who could not. Those who are entering their first year in the classroom and those who have been at it for 28 years.
Thank you for the extra hours you give. For the support you give to students, parents, and your colleagues.
