This week was a whirlwind in the very best way.

Family time. Launching a brand I’ve poured so much of myself into. Some VERY exciting visitors at the Main Street shop. And a lot of time with the incredible team of people who make SALT + GROVE what it is.

I feel incredibly lucky to be building all of this in a place and community I love. And if I’m being honest, I’m also tired. The kind of tired that comes from a lot of moving parts, big dreams, long days and watching something you’ve worked so hard for actually grow.

We’re growing, which means we’re also hiring. If you’re someone who is passionate about wellness, hospitality, retail, beauty or building something special in a small community, I’d love to hear from you. Send me a DM or reach out if you’re interested in joining our team.

A very full week. A very grateful founder. And feeling excited for what’s next.

As a small business owner, one of the hardest parts of running a company is knowing there are things you want to provide your team but simply can’t afford yet. Healthcare is one of them.

That’s one of the reasons I’m supporting Molly Gray for Lieutenant Governor. She’s fighting for universal primary care, which would make it easier for every Vermonter to access the care they need, regardless of where they work or what their employer can offer.

If that matters to you too, I’d love for you to join me in supporting her campaign today. Even a small donation helps move this conversation forward.

Some backstory on this one 👇

For years I sat on the other side of the laptop — merchandising and marketing ideas of what “self-care” and beauty should look like.

But the real education happened here, at Salt + Grove, watching what people actually reach for when they finally have a quiet minute to themselves.

Turns out it’s rarely the 10-step routine. It’s the simple things that feel good enough to slow down for.

That’s what I’ve been building. Not as an expert — as someone who’s been paying attention.

More soon. 🤍

Something’s been sitting in my notes app for over a year. Something earthy, quiet, and a little different from anything I’ve made before.

Not ready to say more. But sooooon… you’ll to be the first to know.

The funny thing about spending 15 years in beauty is… I’ve actually end up simplifying everything.

I use fewer products than I used to. I don’t chase every trend. I wear SPF religiously, stay consistent with a reasonable routine, and invest in treatments that keep my skin healthy over time (hello, Microneedling!)

The biggest thing I’ve changed my mind about, though, is confidence. I don’t think it comes from perfect skin anymore. I think it comes from taking care of yourself and feeling good in your own skin.

That’s a very different definition of beauty than the one I had in my twenties.
