Viscount builds authentic organ tone in real time instead of resorting to a fixed library of sounds sampled from the work of others. Our instruments respond with interactive realism, nuance, and responsiveness to the musical fabric as it is played.

For the musician and the listener, Viscount emulates the natural differences and behaviors of pipe scaling, speech onset and decay, windchest layout, wind pressure, and voicing characteristics, sensing the movement of the musical voices and changing dynamically just as a pipe organ does.

Your house of worship, school, concert venue, teaching studio, or residence enjoys its own acoustical environment, and the realism and responsiveness of a Viscount organ will exceed your expectations because it will be voiced and finished to recreate the natural behaviors of organ pipes in their environment.

We’re excited to announce the latest update for Physis Plus OS (v1.10.0) and the Editor (v1.2.1).
This release brings enhanced sound control, improved MIDI management, new auto-detect features for pedals and controls, plus several refinements and fixes designed to deliver an even smoother playing experience.

Congratulations to Guardian Angels Cincinnati, OH on their investment in Viscount’s Hyperion. This is a work in progress and coming together nicely. The new console will be interfaced with the existing Schantz Pipe Organ. Tonal Finishing to be completed by Sebastian Glück once the installation is complete. The digital voice additions utilize Physis Plus physical modeling technology. Each voice model will be built to the physical characteristics of the existing pipe organ. We are able to emulate the characteristics of scaling, wind pressures, wood or metal type, and even metal composition.
